Description

Named after the Greek word for a public gathering space, the AGORA Picnic Table embraces the spirit of coming together for food, conversation, and community. Built around a classic A-frame design, its foundation is made from 2″ tubular steel that’s been CNC tube laser-cut, ensuring precise fits and robust stability. Properly welded, each surface can hold up to 1,000 pounds, making it more than capable of hosting large groups without fear of wobble or collapse.

Once your steel frame is assembled, add the tabletop and bench planks in wood or any engineered material of your choosing. Whether you’re placing it in a backyard, park, or patio, the AGORA Picnic Table offers a warm, inviting spot to relax and dine. Its minimalist style pairs durability with a timeless shape, promising years of shared meals and cherished moments.

The AGORA design also incorporates foot plates which allow the bench to be bolted to the ground for situations where you want to secure it and ensure it doesn’t move.

The Build Process

We’ll be putting together an AGORA table and documenting the build over on the forums, but for a very quick idea of how this build goes together, we can just look at one end of the table.

As you can see from this image, each of the tube sections has very precise angles which mate together.

After one end is carefully assembled, the components for the second end can be laid directly on top and tacked together to make a perfect duplicate. Then, it’s a simple matter of attaching the long cross bracing to the two ends.

Once the frame is assembled, you can paint or powder coat it, and attach your choice of surface materials to achieve the look you’re going for.
