Decent amount of play in these clamps, but the clamping force once "cinched" is more than adequate, especially when using the foot attachments.

Truthfully, the 3/8" A572 is the only way to go for these tables, if one is fitting or welding any structural steel. The optional grid-square scribe lines in particular are a fantastic touch, and are deep enough to stand up…
